What Our Patients Say
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do I need a referral to schedule an appointment?
Requirements vary depending on your insurance plan. Some HMO and managed care plans require a referral from your primary care physician before your first visit. Give your clinic a call and we’ll help you figure out what, if anything, you need before you come in.
-
How do I schedule an appointment?
Request an appointment online through our contact form, or call your nearest clinic directly. Either way, we’ll follow up to confirm your appointment and answer any questions before your first visit.
-
What should I expect on my first visit?
Plan to arrive about 10 minutes early to complete some paperwork. Your first appointment will run about 1.5 to 2 hours total, giving your therapist time to properly evaluate you and start building your treatment plan. Wear something comfortable, like sweats or shorts, since your therapist may need to see the area you’re being treated for. Bring your insurance card, any referral from your doctor, and a list of questions you’d like to ask.
-
What are the benefits of physical therapy?
Physical therapy helps you build strength, restore movement, and reduce pain, often without surgery or long-term medication. Beyond recovery, it gives you tools to prevent future injury and get back to doing the things you love, faster and with more confidence.
-
Do you take my insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans, and we verify your coverage before your first visit so there are no surprises. If your plan isn’t on our list, we can also help you explore out-of-network or self-pay options.
-
What does physical therapy cost?
Cost depends on your insurance plan and the type of care you need. We verify your benefits before your first visit so you know what to expect. If you don’t have insurance or prefer to pay out of pocket, ask your clinic about our self-pay rates.
